Casting Calls: Billy Elliot – The Musical

Billy Elliot the musical are looking to audition young boys for the roles of Billy and Michael, as well as young girls for the role of Debbie.

– Tap and ballet experience a bonus but not essential

Casting Calls: Star Wars Open Auditions

The Star Wars Open Casting will be taking place on the 23rd and 24th of November, from 11:00am – 6:00pm (gates will open at 6:00am).

Casting Calls: Various Roles

Dowling Erdely Casting are looking to cast actors in various roles for the short film ‘Denham’. The film should be really fun to film (very funny) and it’s shooting in Amsterdam. It has a great director and is full of fun characters to play. Actors taking part will get some really good character based showreel material from it.

We’re going to make a modern day version of the famous American Psycho (business cards) scene, set in the world of hipster advertisement agencies instead of 80’s Wallstreet.

Bateman (Male, 25 – 35)

Male (caucasian) 25-35 years old. Extremely good looking, perfect bone structure, fit body, huge mouth filled with white teeth. Would be awesome if he has a hip beard but not an essential. He’s a snob, takes himself and his image extremely serious. The sort of person that’s so obnoxious you wish you could hate him, but his smile is just too attractive.

Paul Allen (Male, 25 – 30)

Male, Caucasian, Age 25-30. Very good looking, Owen has a bit more innocence about him then Bateman. He’s got a fit body and takes care of his appearance. A Hipster. Would be great if he had some facial hair.

Male (caucasian) 25-40 years old. Might be gay. A bit of a nerdy type, little less sporty and not as cool as the other guys. It would be great if he had RED HAIR.

Focus Puller:

I’m looking for a focus puller with proficiency of working with film cameras. The camera we are using is an Aaton XTR Super 16mm camera. I will need you to load and change film magazines, know about filters for ext/int filming with Tungsten Fuji film, have a good understanding about lighting and complete shooting reports at the end of day. This role is a collaborative opportunity to work closely with the Cinematographer and for both to equally create some beautiful images. Thank you.

Sound Recordist:

This is a short-film telling the story of a boy throughout a 15 year period. There are five moments in this child’s life, whih he finds significant and this eventually leads him to profess to his granmother about his sexual identity. We are shooting this in a West London Mews in Notting Hill Gate. I need a Sound Recordist for Sunday 29th September between 7.30 am until 6pm.
